Recipe for Homemade Bacon Buns

two cups scalded milk
½ pound butter or margarine
two packages dry active yeast
½ cup water
one cup sugar
two teaspoon salt
9 cups sifted flour
four beaten eggs
two pounds cooked finely crumbled bacon
one little finely diced onion

one teaspoon sugar
How to Make It
What You Need
Add the yeast & the water in to a massive mixing bowl to dissolve. Add the sugar & salt & blend well. Add the milk & butter mixture & mix. Gradually add two cups of flour while stirring.
Using a massive saucepan, you will melt the butter or margarine & then add the milk on a heating temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Beat the eggs & then add them as well. Gradually stir in the remaining flour. Beat well & then cover with a neat dry dishtowel. Place in a warm area to rise to double its size. Punch down & then permit it to rise again.

Add the bacon to a massive skillet & fry. Add the diced onions & pepper to taste & fry until the meat is crisp. Remove from heat & then permit the meat to icy to the touch. Crumble bacon in to little pieces & then set aside until needed.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare a massive baking sheet by lightly coating with cooking spray & then set aside until needed.
Using a little mixing bowl add the remaining egg, two tablespoons water, & the remaining sugar. Mix well & then set aside until needed.
Prepare a neat dry area by sprinkling it with flour to roll out your dough.
After allowing the dough to rise the second time, you will divide it in to 8 equal pieces. Placing each at a time you will roll out the dough in to a 1/8 inch thickness as you would a pie crust.
Using a knife or pizza cutter, you will cut each circle in to about ten to 12 triangular shapes. Spread the bacon mixture over each triangle evenly. Roll up the triangle as you would a crescent roll with the broad finish on the inside & the narrow finish on the top when complete.
Brush each of the homemade bacon buns with the egg, water, & sugar mixture. Place the buns on the prepared baking sheet & permit the buns to rise to double their size.
