CROCKPOT HAMBURGER-SAUSAGE DIP
* one pound ground chuck
* one cup picante sauce
* two pound Velveeta cheese...cut in to pieces
* one can cream of mushroom soup
* one pound pork sausage
* one teaspoon garlic powder
* one can Rotel tomatoes
* 3/4 teaspoon oregano
Merge picante sauce, garlic powder, soup, tomatoes, oregano & cheese in Crock Pot. Brown ground chuck & sausage until it is done. Drain well & place in slow cooker/Crock Pot. Cook on low until cheese is melted. Serve along with your favourite chips.
HAMBURGER DIP
* two pounds lean ground beef
* one cup chopped onion
* salt to taste
* two cloves garlic, minced or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/2 cup ketchup
* two cans (8-ounces each) tomato sauce
* two teaspoons white granulated sugar
* one 1/2 teaspoons oregano
* 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* two package (8-ounces each) cream cheese, softened & cut in cubes

In skillet, brown ground beef with onion, discard fat. Pour browned meat & onion in to Slow Cooker. Add garlic, salt, tomato sauce, ketchup, oregano, sugar, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese & chili powder. Set slow cooker/Crock Pot on LOW until cream cheese has melted & is thoroughly blended, one 1/2 to two hours. Stir, taste
& adjust seasoning if desired. Serve with cube Spanish bread or tortilla chips.
* one teaspoon mild chili powder
If spicier dip is desired, use hot chili powder than mild chili powder. Finely chopped jalapenos may be added, if desired.
PARTY HAMBURGER DIP
* one 1/2 pounds Velveeta
* one pound Hamburger
* 1/2 Onion, diced
* one can Ro-Tel tomatoes & chiles
Brown hamburger, mushrooms & onion; drain. Melt Velveeta in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients & simmer (high) for about 30 minutes. Serve with corn chips or crackers. Turn pot to low while serving.
* one 8 - 12 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
